It's All In The Name

I was recently asked why I don't write about issues, or opinions, or existential stuff.  Why is my Blog all about the play by play of my travels. Well, just look at the title of the Blog -----

JULIE - OUT AND ABOUT

Nuff said.

Now, back to our story . . .

Today's excursion was unexciting (especially since I was alone - but I won't harp on THAT any more in this installment) but it did have a highlight.

OOD - casual and comfy

I needed mascara so I hit CVS. No major interactions with anyone, just in and out. Then to the Mall (yes, I still go to the Mall) for some walking around. I find that, since retiring, I need to get out and walk more. Where better than the Mall.

You never know WHO you're going to run into

The Mall is open for walking at 9, but the shops don't open until 11. So I did some window shopping - or window TREATMENT shopping.

I've been accused of being cheeky, but not like this

My soft wear could stand some updating

The need for coffee kicked in, so on my way home I stopped at a new coffee stand (new to me). As I pulled in, I saw their sign -- Lingerie Coffee, Topless Tuesdays and Thursdays. Since today is Thursday I considered turning around - I didn't want to add to the exploitation of ladies. But I was spotted, and the gal at the window was wearing a mesh teddy. Not topless, but leaving precious little to the imagination. I ordered an Americano and she engaged me in pleasant conversation, complimenting me on my top (I did NOT return the compliment)(giggle) and she gave me the Ladies' Discount.

It was VERY hot, I hope she doesn't ever spill while serving!

She made my morning, and the coffee was good, too!

Next stop was a thrift shop, looking for some new (to me) soft wear. This was one I'd never been to before, and they had precious little in the way of clothing.

Sorry, thought we needed another photo!

After that, it was home again to get some chores done. Laundry, mostly. Which means loading the machine, starting it, and planting my butt somewhere to wait.

Butt Planted

Maybe next installment I'll discuss something of importance - something to debate - something of depth. But right now, I need something to fill my tummy.

Stay Safe And Pretty, Sweeties.
