Cleaning Up The Mess



Spring has indeed sprung.  That time of year when a young lady's fancy turns to . . CLEANING!  (ok - an OLD lady, then)  I am a self professed clean freak and today I took it to the garage.

In the past I have been accused of overdressing.  You know what I'm talking about - getting too dressed up for the event. (A blog I follow dealt with this topic just today - Thank You Stana at Femulate.  http://www.femulate.org/2019/04/overdresser.html  Good reading!) But the way I look at it, I can wear jeans and sneakers in male mode every day - so why do it while "en femme"?? (Discussion on this topic will be open in the comments section below)

My outfit for today's cleaning task

It was indeed a beautiful day, too nice to stay indoors.  So keeping the garage door open served a few purposes.  Fresh air, plenty of sun light and warmth, plus the added factor of encountering anyone walking thru the alley.

I got a lot of cleaning done, and managed to do so without snagging my pantyhose, too!  In fact, it was a rather uneventful experience - except when I got molested by a guy I found hiding behind a stack of junk!
"Oooooo!"

 One of the joys of being in theater - you never know what kind of old props you're going to find in the garage!

 Next project - Spring Cleaning in the house.  Stay tuned!

Down Memory Lane -- In Pumps

Funny how a random comment or reference can trigger a memory. That happened to me this morning.   I was reminded of the Halloween in my Jr year of high school when I decided to be "a hooker" and enlisted the VERY willing help of a female friend, Alice. It was mostly her wardrobe, and I have vague memories of exactly what I was wearing. I went to her house the week prior to select the "costume". She had laid out 4 or 5 dresses for me to try.  The first one was perfect, but that didn't stop me from wanting to try on all the others. Her mother, who was assisting, commented that I was enjoying my little fashion show. Alice supplied the shoes as well - good thing we were the same size - and I told her I'd take care of the undergarments. Our town did a Halloween Parade during the day on Oct 31, and I had "marched" with 2 friends - we were The Marx Brothers handing out candy along the parade route. Blog Entey #130! - Where Everbody Wants To Know Your Name

  Blog Entry #130 - who-da thunk it!  I don't think I've done 130 of many other things, but here I am - Blog #130.  Feel free to look back and enjoy any of the previous 129 articles, I know I will. But for now, here we go . . .  I was able to get out last week (finally!) for a few hours. I planned some shopping, both necessities and clothes browsing.  I also planned to end the evening at Applebee's for a glass of wine and a snack.   I questioned the purple with the red, but I think it works I managed to NOT buy anything (other than the necssities) so I was REALLY looking forward to the wine. I pulled into Applebee's parking lot and it was packed. Honestly, when I see that, my first reaction is to NOT go in. Too many people, too many opportunities for being "read". Brief Encounter - Lasting Impression

  OK - have to share this story because I'm still not sure how I feel about it. I was on my lunch break the other day (I work in drab) and popped into Mod Pizza. There in line in front of me was a young couple - I'm guessing early 20's. And she was . . . a Julie. I first noticed that her red shoulder length hair was too perfect, She was wearing a pretty floral dress (even downtown during the work day, a little over dressed) fucia sling back pumps and a matching fucia wrist bag, and a nice tan top coat over it all. She caught my attention, so I observed closely. Her voice was pitched high, but maybe too high. Her hands were not large, but borderline "man hands". I took the step and complimented her on her cute bag. She looked at me (mask on) and said Thank You. Her eyes were smiling, but I could tell her brows were not being taken care of.
