Three Sisters

Image
Summer is coming.  For a cross dresser like myself, that means hot weather and uncomfortable clothes.  Uncomfortable in the sense that with all the padding and the tucking and the squeezing - my naturally high temp Mediterranean body can get very . . . "toasty" in climates over 72 degrees.  So, as we enter June, my chances to get out with my Sister Friends are becoming rare.  Today was a much needed excursion. Due to work schedules (OK, due to the work schedule of the ONLY Sister Friend currently employed full time) we had to meet for coffee at O-Dark 30 in the blessed AM.  (OK, it was 7:30.  But when it takes you 25 to 30 minutes to get ready and another 15 to walk to the coffee shop -- that's early!) There were never such devoted Sisters Linda and I stepped up to the counter together and were greeted with "Good morning, Ladies" - whether they say it because that's how I'm presenting and they want to be polite, or because they genuinely see...

I Just Wanted To Bake . . .

Image
All I wanted to do was bake some brownies.  Really.   I got the box of mix out of the cupboard, checked the ingredients needed, and then realized I was out of Vegetable Oil.  Not a drop in the house.  There's a convenience store just a block away, so it was no real problem.  But, being a cross dresser can make even the simplest of tasks an adventure. I was in my PJ's - I could have just pulled on some sweats and been there and back in 10 minutes. But the chance to go out was so enticing . . . .  I got dressed, make up and hair done, and a mere 45 minutes later was ready. The lady behind the counted was very nice, called me "Hun" and smiled a real smile - not that, "You look cute for a dude in a dress" kind of smile.  Then it was home to the kitchen and . . .    Got the treats in and out of the oven, and while waiting for them to cool took my coffee out on the porch. I hope these brownies are worth it!...

What's A Girl To Do?

Image
Had the day off on Friday, planned to get out a bit.  But without a car that day, and with rain in the forecast, I chose to stay at home.  I thought I'd get caught up on some email - but my computer is very slow these days.  I logged on . . .   . . . and waited for it to load. I then got to my email account and opened the one I needed to address . . .   . . .and waited for it to load. Finally I was able to write a response to it and hit send . . .  . . .and waited for it to load. I spent a lot of time waiting yesterday, with very little result. But I did manage to drink a LOT of coffee AND change shoes at least twice. Always look on the bright side! Stay safe and pretty, Sweeties!
