 National Nylon Stockings Day! Nylons - pantyhose - a business that would disapear from the face of the earth if it wasn't for crossdressers.  No, I haven't fact checked this statement.  It's just a hunch, based on my informal survey of the average woman on the street.  Nylons seem to be out of favor - even in the dead of winter.  For me, I adore the way they feel on freshly shaved legs. Yummy! I don't wear stockings often, but they can be fun, too! So let's celebrate the day.  Put on a pair of nylons (stockings, "stay-ups", tights, pantyhose) and experience the joy!  I have recently been bombarded by offers for Boudoir Photo Sessions. Now, I'm not against them, but let's be honest. For me to participate in one of these photo ops, I'd need to do some HEAVY shaving . . .   Putting up decorations for Christmas 2022 makes me nostalgic for Christmases Past.  Here's a look at years long gone by - but please ignore that even though clothing and hair styles changed, the decorations are EXACTLY the same ones! OK, my last experiment turned in the results I expected. In that, when I post a Photo Essay I get LOTS of views in a brief period of time. Now we come to The Great Experiment Part 2. A post with no photos (well, except for the Banner of my fingers - and if THAT gets your excited response, who am I to judge)(lol)  These past 2 weeks have been fun - I wrapped up 2 major projects that took up most of my free time, which allowed very little time for Julie to get Out and About. But once they were in the history books, I wasted no time in letting my Softer Side breath again.  I had recently "come out" to a male friend who expressed interest in getting together with Julie, so we had a wonderful lunch with good conversation. Since it was Sunday I went in my best black skirt, grey mock turtleneck top, black pumps and grey pantyhose.  He was very comlimentary about my outfit and overall appearance. What is the biggest fear many CD'ers have? Being out in public and running into someone they know who has NO idea about their Femme Self. Or, in other words, being caught. I have been Out And About for a few years now and have managed to avoid this experience -- until recently. Not only did it happen to me - it happened TWICE in 2 weeks. First Experience - Thrift Shopping. I was brousing the dresses at Value Village. The aisles are rather narrow, so when there's a shopping cart in the way it gets tight. When there's TWO carts, you cannot pass. Well, there was one, and as I approached that end of the aisle, another cart entered. Passage was blocked - not that it mattered, I was still brousing dresses. But the woman with the second cart addressed me with a smile. "If you need to get by, just let me know and I'll move." I looked up and realized that I know this woman. Judging from her reactions I do not think she recognized me, so I thanked her, turne...

As many of you know, I post a daily meme on my Facebook page. I call it "The 'I Love Dressing' Meme Of The Day". These are randomly selected in a rotation of over 200 photos (wow!) and occasionally the Godess of Serendipity steps in and aligns things just right. Like today, for instance. Today's meme was . . . Well, yesterday I met up with a local Sister for the first time. We had been planning this meeting for about 2 weeks and finally got a date and time selected. I was SO excited about it, and of course spent QUITE a lot of time selecting my outfit. She was attending the coffee date in drab due to her schedule for the day, but I wanted to make an impression. Since it was Sunday morning I went with a "I'm on my way to church" ensemble. I even put on pantyhose - in spite of the predicted 90+ degree temps! We met at a Starbucks and after a while we went to a nearby park to continue our conversation. It was a very pleasant get together,...

Well well well - isn't it interesting how we make plans, anxiously look forward to executing those plans, and then BAM! Stuff Happens to change it all. I had a week -- a whole week --- (well, excluding my 9 to 5 job) of Julie Time. I had a Bucket List of items to cross off, and some Sister Friends to perform them with. And then due to Covid and other circumstances, I was all alone for most of the week. The week was hardly a walk in the park - but I DID take a walk in the park. This is also the outfit I wore to attend church on Sunday Morning (Bucket List Item #1) A Night At The Casino(s) This is what I wore, but hardly anyone saw it. I went to 2 casinos, the first being a newer and MUCH smaller one. Didn't stay there too long. The other was a return trip, but they had made changes. Time for my twice annual (Bi-annual? No, I'm not Bi) week long business trip where Julie can get out each and every night! One of the most difficult parts of this excursion is - as always - selecting what outfits to bring along! I will have 4 nights to enjoy, and of course I need a different outfit for each night. I conducted a poll on my FB page and among my dearest Sister Friends and THESE are the winning ensembles. BTW - the numbers in the upper corners were strictly for voting purposes and have nothing to do with how each outfit ranked. I'm also not sure about the shoes in #10. I'll probably go with the black pumps for this dress - unless YOU think the leopard pumps really work??? This is a brand new dress and this will be it's first outing so I want it to look it's best!
