Julie - Out and About

  The thing that keeps me going these past few years is my bi-annual business trip out of town.  I have been going to Chehalis WA (on average) twice a year for the past 15 years. The job has many pros and cons --  PRO - I get to play Radio again CON - 12 hour work days PRO - private hotel room for 4 days CON - work finishes at 7PM, most things in this town close at 8 PRO - Julie gets out every night This Autumnal Trip was more of the same, but then not really.  My new Sister Friend Theresa lived in Chehalis and told me of a location I had never visited before -- The Chehalis Friendship Fence ( Chehalis Friendship Fence | LCLG ) A rainy night, but you go when you can I couldn't get there before 8PM (and these days the sun goes down at 4) so the pics are dark. Persecution: a program or campaign to drive away or subjugate people based on their religious, social, or ethnic group - Webster (Which is often in the eye of the beholder - Julie) As I prepared to go out on night two of my out of town excursion, I decided to wear one of the items I picked up yesterday at the Hanes/Bali Outlet Store.  They had a clearance rack that was an eclectic mix of lingerie and active wear, and after scouring it carefully I found a pair of leggings in my size AND a fun color. More fun than Basic Black I had a later start this evening due to working until 7, which meant my options for location were few.  I was peckish, so I went to my stand by spot, Denny's.  The Waitress, Christine, greeted me warmly and seated me.  She was smiling and friendly -- but I wondered about her choice of location. Let's see, now where was I?? Oh yeah - Day 4! (aka Day Final) Another late day at the job, so after getting back to the hotel, selecting the outfit for the evening, and getting the make up "just right", I was relegated to the only options available.   Ready to hit the exciting .. . well, the quiet streets   I first went to Denny's to get something sweet to eat.  The waitress, Kellie, was a dear.  She gave me a great suggestion - cheesecake with yummy strawberries!  It really hit the spot.  And Kellie was so nice and accepting.  After hitting the Ladies Room to freshen up my lips, I headed out to my next stop. Julie, Sarah and Linda - feathered and fancy! Get comfy - this might be a long one! So much happened this past week that I am torn between giving you the highlights all in one post, or splitting it over a few posts and going into details.  Let's see where this goes. As some of you may have read, this past week (due to circumstances too numerous to mention) I had a full week of Julie Time that I got to share with my two best girl friends.  The highlight was a road trip on Thursday that included dinner, dancing and a stay in a hotel -- all of which were firsts for Yours Truly.  As I stated in my previous blog, I took absolutely NO boy clothes along on this trip -- not even jeans.  Now, not every day was filled with adventure and excitement - unless you count going to Jiffy Lube and chatting with the gal at the counter about where she got her cute shoes as an adventure (see Day 3) - but it was pretty much Julie 24/7, and to me that WAS excitement.  HIGHL...
