As many of you know, I post a daily meme on my Facebook page called The "I Love Dressing" Meme Of The Day. These are randomly selected in a rotation of over 130 (wow!) and occasionally the Godess of Serendipity steps in and aligns things just right. Like Today, for instance. Today's meme was . . . Well, Yesterday I met up with a local Sister for the first time. We had been planning this meeting for about 2 weeks and finally got a date and time selected. I was SO excited about it, and of course spent QUITE a lot of time selecting my outfit. She was attending the coffee date in drab due to her schedule for the day, but I wanted to make an impression. Since it was Sunday morning I went with a "I'm on my way to church" ensemble. I even put on pantyhose - in spite of the predicted 90+ degree temps! Watch what you say - someone might hold you to it! It was brought to my attention that a local theater will be doing a production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW this October. My Dear Sister Friend Sarah - always one to challenge me to step out more - suggested we attend. Talk about a "What Ever Will I Wear" situation! Do I go with lingerie, or with a maid outfit? (this photo is from MANY years - as well as a few pounds - ago, so please excuse the make up!)(giggle) I have a few months to decide, but I think (I said "I THINK") I am going to accept her challenge, yet again! Well well well - isn't it interesting how we make plans, anxiously look forward to executing those plans, and then BAM! Stuff Happens to change it all. I had a week -- a whole week --- (well, excluding my 9 to 5 job) of Julie Time. I had a Bucket List of items to cross off, and some Sister Friends to perform them with. And then due to Covid and other circumstances, I was all alone for most of the week. The week was hardly a walk in the park - but I DID take a walk in the park. This is also the outfit I wore to attend church on Sunday Morning (Bucket List Item #1) A Night At The Casino(s) This is what I wore, but hardly anyone saw it. I went to 2 casinos, the first being a newer and MUCH smaller one. Didn't stay there too long. The other was a return trip, but they had made changes. I have a full week of Julie Time at home -- well, except for going to work in drab mode. I started off with plans - going out with a few friends to a movie, to church, to brunch. BUT --- Don'tcha love it when "Life" gets in the way. Due to circumstances beyond ANYONE'S control, I spent the first day (Saturday) by myself. I did get out, I did some errands and managed to grab an appetizer and a glass of wine at my favorite watering hole. I also premierd a new top - for the Summer Heat that has finally arrived here in Spokane. The moral of the story - keep moving forward and cherish the time we can grab with those nearest and dearest to us. Stay Safe And Pretty, Sweeties.

Time for my twice annual (Bi-annual? No, I'm not Bi) week long business trip where Julie can get out each and every night! One of the most difficult parts of this excursion is - as always - selecting what outfits to bring along! I will have 4 nights to enjoy, and of course I need a different outfit for each night. I conducted a poll on my FB page and among my dearest Sister Friends and THESE are the winning ensembles. BTW - the numbers in the upper corners were strictly for voting purposes and have nothing to do with how each outfit ranked. I'm also not sure about the shoes in #10. I'll probably go with the black pumps for this dress - unless YOU think the leopard pumps really work??? This is a brand new dress and this will be it's first outing so I want it to look it's best! When a gal is out and about, enjoying coffee time with friends or just doing the grocery shopping, the biggest danger is venturing into a clothing shop! My clothing budget is only so big - and that has to cover wardrobes for BOTH of us - so when I spot a pretty little dress a MAJOR conflict is ignited. Take THIS litle number, for example. I spotted it on the rack at a Ross Dress For Less. It caught my attention for a few reasons. It's a wrap around (I don't own one of those) It fit into all my Style Requirements (long sleeves,classy design) Marked down from $80 to $10 (how could I say no!) Since restrictions on changing rooms at clothing stores have lifted, I was at least able to try it on before buying. I must admit, I am STILL on the fence about it. I don't often do this, but I solicit YOUR opinions. Please comment below - Keep It or Pitch It? I anxiously await the verdict.
